The Ballon d'Or is an annual football award presented by France Football magazine, and it is considered one of the most prestigious individual honours in the sport. Ronaldo has won the award five times in his career, in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017. Only Lionel Messi has won more Ballon d'Or than Ronaldo in the history of Football.
